The NHS is haemorrhaging Billions of pounds every year on expensive, private recruitment agencies to fill temporary staff gaps.

This is a scandalous waste of taxpayer money, enriching middlemen while draining funds that should be spent on patient care.

A far more efficient and sustainable solution is for the NHS to establish its own national, in-house agency for all temporary staff—from maternity cover to short-term illness.

This would cut out the profiteering, allow the NHS to set fair and affordable pay rates, and ensure Billions are redirected from agency fees back into the front-line where it belongs.
