Billions of pounds of taxpayer money are wasted on a sprawling, unaccountable network of consultants, quangos, and commissions that slow down government and fail to deliver value.

To end this culture of waste, an Office of Government Efficiency, led by a powerful, independent 'Efficiency Czar', should be created.

This role wouldn't be another layer of bureaucracy; it would be a wrecking ball for bureaucracy. Their sole mission: to slash the multi-billion pound consultancy bill, conduct a "bonfire of the quangos," and challenge every commission that fails to deliver rapid, tangible results.

This would energise government, speed up decision-making, and ensure public money is spent on public priorities, not endless reports and talking shops.
